What you ought to drink! Healthy Plant based Drinks for longevity!

Can I just say real quite that matcha soy lattes are the bomb? Because they are....

Here is a collection of healthy drinks I have created to get as much antioxidants and beneficial as possible in our daily ways! Do try to drink these at least an hour from meals so it doesn't contribute to your iron store inhibition as tannins and such found in tea and coffee tend to do!

almond matcha (fluffy delicate bubbles)

soy matcha (bubbles are finer and stronger)

just a foam top

Matcha Latte - high in antioxidants this slows aging!
Add matcha to some warm water
Put lid on bottle and shake until combined- or use a blender
Add to glass and top with unsweetened plant milk (only 40 with unsweetened almond milk!). Delicious!




Tumeric latte - health power-house, this prevents many diseases out there including diabetes, heart disease and brain disease!
1 shake ginger powder
3 shakes cinnamon
1 shake cloves
1/4t turmeric
a few cracks of black pepper
1 drop stevia

Add hot water, top with 1cm soy milk. Enjoy!



Cold Brew Coffee - with cashew milk
Simply place grounds in the fridge with 16 parts water. Leave over night. strain, then strain through a coffee filter. Keeps in fridge 2 weeks.
That is homemade cashew milk there. Soaked cashews, blended with desired amount of water. I make it thick and use it as a creamer, but then also just add water as i go if i want to drink a glass straight. No need to strain cashew milk! I sometimes add vanilla essence, but not sweeteners I like it as is, personally. 
Unfortunately this flares up my reflux so I will not be drinking this anymore- but SUCH A SHAME it is goooood!





SUPER CHAI
A blend of carob, raw cocoa, spirulina, matcha, cinnamon, cloves, MSM, turmeric, pepper, cardamon, ginger and any other flavour you desire. (even cayenne if you're gutsy!)
A lovely way to hide turmeric which is absolutely great for you- teamed with the pepper and fat content from the soy milk- this superfood drink is a nice tea replacement. Though it sure does contain some iron inhibiting ingredients it's best to take at least an hour away from food.



Garden Tisane

Go out in your yard and raid your herbs! Here i have a mint flower, white and red strawberries, the last of the blueberries, lemon balm, lemon verbena and stevia. Like a fresh punch, with no tannins it is great if you are looking at avoiding drinks that will interfere with iron absorption.
