Whole Food Plant Based Transition

Hello blog friends!



So I recently-ish discovered the works of Michael Greger M.D., and Dr Esselstyn, and a whole other lot of people!

Recipes in future will try to stick to a whole food, plant based diet, with some low percentage of "cheating" under 30%....but I will be striving for delicious, whole food plant based (of course gluten free) foods, trying to stick to Greger's daily dozen! Because I'm so short though I will be limiting the grain and legumes- they are too caloric to maintain for me.

I also do the 5:2 diet. I eat 350 calories 2 days a week. Since June last year I have lost 8 kgs. I still have 6kgs to go. Let's see if going almost entirely wholefood plant based makes a dent.
