Very Sharp, Umami strong flavour. Salty. Sour/tangy. Reminds me of chicken stock and strong on the yeast flavour reminding me more of bread than cheese sometimes. A little goes a long way. 3.5/5

More creamy and very very strongely cheesey. Tangy. Full of umami. Slightly bitter. A little goes a long way-conveniently powdered.   4/5

Bragg $9.83 127g
Mild and lightly Tangy cheese flavour. Need to use more for taste. Good for those who like mild cheeses but might need to use more of it for flavor. Convenient shaker lid. 4.5/5

Lotus $6.60 100g
Cheesy with a crisp high cheesy note that hits the top of your head (hard to describe). Almost sweet? Or perfect balance of sour and sweet. Has a yeasty taste. 4/5

To be honest they all taste much the same once used in a cheese recipe the differences is marginal. So pick up whatever one you find our fits your budget or convenience!  :)

I like the convenience of the powdered Now Foods and the Braggs shaker top. So convenience wise they win. But some are too sour and strong for my liking-alone- but in a cheese recipe works perfectly.
