Cheesy Spread / Cheesy Sauce - Dairy free, Vegan, Plant Based, Oil free, Refined Salt Free



Cheesy sauce served with TSP bolognese


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup white beans
1/4c cashews (soaked)
1/2c silken tofu (or you can use about 1/3c unsweetened plant milk)
5 TB nutritional yeast 
1/4t miso paste
1/8 tsp (or 1 shake) onion or garlic powder (you could even use a whole raw clove if that is your thing
1/4t lemon juice or vinegar
1 Pinch of curry powder
Splashes of unsweetened almond/soy milk- as needed





Served on stuffed eggplant

METHOD:
Combine in a food processor or large blender. Blend till smooth. There you go!


For the sauce, simply add more plant milk until desired consistency is reached. 


TASTE:
Very cheesy! And beany. But what did I expect, really?


TEXTURE:
Paste is super thick, hearty and creamy. Great for dipping or spreading on a monster sandwich!
Sauce is smooth and velvety, great for mac and cheese or on top of bolognese.
